i'm still trying

i haven't given up on the blog completely but it is still hard for me to find time to post. and if i find time, i have no clue what to write about.

since my last post i have become the target of a spammer that writes their posts in japanese, chinese, korean. not sure which language is used but i know i can't read any of it. so i am going to disable anonymous comments for a while. it isn't like anyone else ever comments.

so what has happened lately? i have met a woman on craigslist. we have exchanged a lot of email and we have even met once. our first face-to-face meeting ended up in bed having sex. we still email each other but it is still undecided if we will meet again.

i have found a new fixation. old style pin up art. i love the way the women are sensual and curvy. they frequently incorporate stockings and heels. anyone that has actually read this blog knows how much i like that. i have also found some newer variations but the old style still seem to be the best. vargas has no equal when it comes to this.

i am exploring the erotic comics but they tend to get a little weird. the enormous cocks, the monsters. not sure i like that and it is quite prevalent in them. but i'm still looking.

all of the entries in the title are geek for 100. this is my 100th post. you would think it would be special. guess not. the tmi for today just didn't appeal to me. and i have been extremely busy at work lately so i haven't had a lot of time to post. so you are going to get a few rambling paragraphs from me today.

what makes a good cook? last week's tmi asked how good a cook we thought we are. i said 9.5 out of 10. it isn't because i'm a gourmet. it is because everything i have ever made was edible and at least one person enjoyed it. i might not use exotic sauces or ingredients, but i make food that is edible, filling and damn tasty. so i consider myself a damn good cook.

i added a couple of brain farts to the side bar.

when i was a kid i looked forward to christmas. now i dread it. i hate the way that it has become so commercialized and all about the gifts. i'm not going to get all religious on you but the reason for the season has been lost. and i honestly don't mind the whole gift giving thing but it has become such a hassle to get "the right" gift. and no one wants simple gifts anymore. honestly, as a kid i used to like getting a few new shirts. now, kids don't want anything that doesn't need batteries or a monthly payment to keep it working.

now, back to the title. can anyone identify the 4 number systems used?

i'm still alive

i'm still alive, i'm just really busy. thanksgiving week was full of illness. i had a cold. my son had strep throat. my pc had a virus. it really sucked.

now i'm back at work and trying to make up for taking a week off. i'll get back to posting soon.

i've been busy and i ain't had time to write. (i just had to, vixen).

i'll try to get something up this week beside tmi. and i'm going to do my best to participate in hnt. i'm finding that if i have something like those, it is easier for me to post. because if i have to come up with stuff out of my life to post, it doesn't happen.

i'm trying to come up with a set of questions to submit for tmi. i've sent in a few one-off questions but they have never been used. so i'm hoping that if i do a complete set, they might actually look at them. :)

more later if i can come up with something.

home with a sick kid(again). not much to say. but like i said previously i'm trying to get better at this blogging thing. and that means posting more often.

not exactly what i wanted to get but i got something. i hate when spammers and link whores try to not to be obvious. this comment showed up on my "i got nothing" post from yesterday.

"please can you delete this comment after your decision?". i don't delete or moderate my comments so it is going to stay there for any one that might accidently find this blog to see. isn't it enough that we get 100's of spam email messages a day? now they have to start spamming our blogs too? this makes me want to go back to the days before internet, before cell phones. where i had to go into a sleezy bookstore to buy my porn and where it was easy to tell that a letter you received in the mail was from someone you didn't know because it was addressed to "resident".

the title says it all. i got nothing to post about. uneventful weekend. even less eventful day. maybe something will happen tonight.
